Life at Harvest goes beyond weekend worship

It’s about ministering to our families, our communities, and each other. There’s so much happening here—we want to make it easy for you to meet people and find out all our church has for you and your family. There’s no better time than now to take your next step of connection.

Step 1: Meet

Step 1 is your starting point to getting connected at Harvest. You’ll meet our our pastor and leaders for lunch in a casual environment. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know you, for you to get to know the leadership, learn more about Harvest, to get your questions answered, and find out how to take your next step at Harvest.

If you have children, they can remain in Harvest Kids ministry while you attend!

Step 2: Connect

This is a two-part class where you’ll find out what it means to worship, walk with, and work for Christ—and how to put those into practice in your life. At Step 2 you’ll also learn about how to become a committed part of our Harvest family and how to continue growing in your relationship with God and with others in our church. Come to St. John Fisher the same way you would for church on Sundays. We will be up in the HarvestKids area. Childcare is not provided for Step 2

Step 3: Commit

This step is about continuing to grow spiritually and relationally—in a small group, in rolling up your sleeves through service to Jesus and His church, and in making Harvest your church home. It’s the step that never stops. If you have taken Step 2 and are ready to become a committed member of Harvest Bible Chapel, we would love to have you join our church family.

Harvest isn’t just a church with small groups…we’re a church of smalls groups!

At Harvest Bible Chapel our focus is on the quality of discipleship. Small groups is our main vehicle to make disciples, and our goal is to have 100% of our people in a small group. The purpose of these groups is to minister to one another through effective prayer, mutual accountability and the application of the Word of God to our lives.

Our goal at Harvest Bible Chapel is to grow quality disciples who desire to glorify God in every area of their life. One of the essentials in meeting this goal is to identify a place to serve within our church that fits with your spiritual giftedness and ministry passion.

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:10-11

Believers Baptism

At Harvest Bible Chapel we believe that Christian baptism by immersion in water is a public identification with Jesus Christ in his death, burial and resurrection. Although baptism is not required for salvation, it is commanded of all believers and is for believers only. Scripture shows that a person was baptized after personally receiving forgiveness of sin through accepting Jesus Christ. The waters of baptism are a symbol of our death, burial, and resurrection to newness of life that happens when we become a new creation in Christ.

If you are interested in baptism, we would love to hear your story and help you take this important step of faith.
